Greenland's Changing Landscape

Though its cause may still be contentious for some ,it is undeniable that Greenland is disappearing at a startling rate as large chunks of ice break off from the mainland and float away as icebergs. It was commonly thought that the melting and break up of mammoth glaciers was the most dramatic example of Greenland's changing landscape, new research shows that the real culprits are dozens of much smaller outflow glaciers dotting Greenland's coast. This is a sign in how the world and its landscapes itself will change in the following years. This could be a sign of a giant flood over the countries including the United States.

The ending of the war in Iraq

“Here is the truth: fighting a war without end will not force the Iraqis to take responsibility for their own future. And fighting in a war without end will not make the American people safer.
So when I am Commander-in-Chief, I will set a new goal on day one: I will end this war. Not because politics compels it. Not because our troops cannot bear the burden- as heavy as it is. But because it is the right thing to do for our national security, and it will ultimately make us safer.”
This is how Obama states that the end of the war in Iraq will come closer and will come to an end if Obama wins the Commander-in-Chief. There is no reson that we are in war now but I say that we pull back our troops now and organized them so that we could be ready with war if anyone messes with us. Thousands of our troops had died and suffer because of this war. But the ones that are still alived today should have the right to go home and have peace with their family. So my conclusion is that this horrible war should end now!!!

Labor Day

For my Labor Day weekend I spent the night at my cousin's house. All night we played Wii. After he were done with that we started to play poker with the new set of poker chips that just came up in 2007. Then my uncle woke up and put some rock music so loud that his neighbor call the cops. The police officer gave my cousin a warning and left right away. Then we got tired and waited till the sunrise and felt right to sleep. We then woke up at 9:30 am and went home to see the Cowboys game.
